    I use my straightener and it works just fine. I use the REMINGTON S5500 Sleek and Smooth. I can get tight curles or loose curles. Any curles/waves/texture has been because of this straightener. It only cost's about $18.00. I'm trying to find tutorials for curls/waves created with a straightener. -- And I'v'e had a curling iron. SUCK-ASS :(
